Students' first year at Cass is an exciting transition. To help students succeed in this transition, the Fifth Grade Team focuses on the following:
- Changing classes every period
- Having combination lockers
- Building organizational skills
- Taking responsibility for work and actions
- Participation in the D.A.R.E. Program
- Experiencing the Outdoor Education trip
- Learning to be independent as well as cooperative
