Dr. Kerry J. Foderaro
Kerry J. Foderaro has been Cass School District No. 63’s Superintendent of Schools as of July 1, 2005. Dr. Foderaro has 26 years of educational experience with the past 24 of those years as an educational administrator. Dr. Foderaro was the Assistant Superintendent for Administration in the Oswego Community Unit School District No. 308 the four years before coming to Cass School District. Prior to his experience in District No. 308, he was a superintendent intern and elementary principal for 11 years in the Glenview Community Consolidated School District No. 34. Before working in Glenview, Dr. Foderaro worked for the Archdiocese of Chicago in Evanston and Skokie as a principal in a pre-kindergarten through eighth graded school, after serving as an assistant principal and teacher. Dr. Foderaro earned his Doctorate in Education (Ed.D.) from National-Louis University in Evanston, Illinois in Educational Leadership and his Bachelors (B.S.) from Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Florida in Elementary and Secondary Education. In addition, he has an Associate’s degree (A.A.) in Liberal Arts, a Master’s degree (M.A.) in Educational Administration and Supervision and an Educational Specialist’s degree (Ed.S.) in Educational Leadership. Kerry resides in the northwest suburbs with is wife Marni, who is a Special Education Teacher at a Palatine High School and an adjunct professor at Northern Illinois University. They have two children, ages 10 and 13. Kerry is pleased by the support he has received from the Board, staff and community and is honored to serve the Cass School District community as their Superintendent of Schools. |
