WINTER BAND CONCERT .  .  .

        The Winter Band Concert will be held Monday, December 15 at 7 PM in the Cass Junior High School gym.  All fourth through eighth grade band members will perform that evening.  Please click on the "63 Notes" link for further information.

HINSDALE SOUTH JAZZ FESTIVAL  .  .  .

          The Cass Jazz Band will be performing at the annual Hornet Jazz Festival in the Hinsdale South High School auditorium on Thursday, January 8 at 7:30 PM.  All Jazz Band members should report to the high school auditorium stage, located on the north side of the building by entrance #6, by 7 PM.  Jazz Band members are also reminded to wear their blue band polo shirt with black pants and black shoes.

CASS BAND RECEIVES GRANTS  .  .  .

        The Cass Junior High School Band program is pleased to announce that they have received grants for 2008-2009. The Darien Rotary Club has given a $500 grant to be used for the Master Teachers’ Program, and Target has given a $2,000 grant to be used for the Master Teachers’ Program.  These grants are in addition to the $2,500 grant from the Gift of Carl Foundation.  The Cass PTC has also given the Masters program $3,000, and the Cass Fine Arts Boosters has committed $2,500.  We thank all these organizations for their support.  To view the schedule for the next clinics, click on "Master Classes" above.
