The Circuit by Francisco Jimenez

Papa, Mama, Roberto, and the narrator are taking a journey to La Frontera California, to live a life of constant moving. Mama, Papa, Roberto all worked at the cotton and strawberry fields while the narrator stayed to watch his little brother. They lived in tent cities and moved up to one room shacks. They also picked carrots and grapes for money to live a better life. The narrator is going to live a good life, one soon to be called home seen through the eyes of him. The narrator is happy with his home.

This story I would give a seven out of ten because it was sort of boring but the story was a kind of story that made you want to read it. Anyone who enjoys a kid with hopes and dreams to get to live a better life will want to read this book. I recommend this book because it’s a thrill and exciting to read.
