The
Cass Jr. High Media Center provides library and information services
to students, faculty and the school community. It strives to
develop the skills necessary to meet the lifelong informational needs of
students, while encouraging them to develop a never ending love of
reading. Mrs. Kaczmarski and I work with other teachers to achieve
the outcomes of the Cass Jr. High School curriculum. Resources to
achieve this include an organized, complete, diverse and current
collection of learning resources as well as access to other libraries
and information sources.
The Learning Center is a busy place. Classes, small groups, and individuals use our library resources for research and for locating independent reading materials. The Learning Center staff also collaborates with teachers to coordinate multi-disciplinary units and school-wide curriculum projects. |

| Books are circulated for two weeks. Each Thursday overdue and fine notices are passed out. An overdue notice lists the price of the book since it has not been returned. A fine notice is given once the book has been checked in. It indicates the fine. | ||
