|
The B.A.S.E. as it’s referred to, or Before and After School Experience is provided by Cass School District #63 and offers a before and after school child care program for Concord students. At Concord the program is open to students in grades K-4. The program is designed to assist children to develop socially, mentally and physically in a save, nurturing, stimulating environment. We will offer a facility in which it is possible for children to make choices while still receiving supervision and adult support. The children will participate in a variety of leisure activities, which include board games, playing in the gym or outside, weather permitting. They will also have a quiet place for completing homework and supervised time in the computer lab. Competent supervisory personnel will be available to assist children at all times. Morning hours will be five days a week from 6:45 to 8:30 A.M. and in the afternoon from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M. An afternoon snack is provided to all at about 4:00 P.M. This program is parent-funded with fees applied to operational expenses. For more information on the program or to enroll please contact the district office during normal business hour at 630-985-2000. If your child is currently enrolled in the B.A.S.E. program the parents may contact the B.A.S.E. staff directly during B.A.S.E hours of operation at 630-968-1168.
