Welcome to Fifth Grade Math and Social Science! My goal for all students is to be successful learners while instilling a joy of learning.
In Social Science, we begin with the Ice Age hunters and continue through American history into the American Revolution. We will end our journey by completing an American Revolution project.
In Math, students reinforce skills and gain knowledge in new skills, such as decimals, fractions, and measurement. It is essential for all students to master their basic math facts, especially multiplication, in order to be successful. Take out those flashcards and practice!
My goal is to offer many opportunities for students and their many unique talents and abilities. The interaction among school, parents, and community enrich opportunities for students to grow into confident, independent learners.
Students will enjoy many fun, exciting activities throughout the year that will make fifth grade a memorable year!
