FAB IS CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR PARENTS TO BE NEXT YEAR'S (2012-13) PRESIDENT
If you would like to become a member of FAB,please send your contact information (name, email, and phone number) to fab@cassd63.org. Being a member will allow you to be included in the FAB distribution list, which means you will receive updates about Fine Arts programs, fundraisers, and events. Membership is free and there are a variety of opportunities to participate, whether as an at large member or volunteer all in the interest of supporting Fine Arts in our district.
Our Meetings: We meet the 1st Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the District Conference Room.
Scheduled meeting dates for the 2011-2012 school year are as follows: 9/7, 10/5, 11/2, 12/7, 1/4, 2/1, 3/7, 4/4, and 5/2.
FAB Mission Statement:
The purpose of Cass District 63 Fine Arts Boosters (FAB) shall be to support and promote the Fine Arts curriculum by supporting fine arts teachers in our district and raising money to be donated and spent on items, activities or services which offer students optimum exposure to the Fine Arts.
Monies Raised have sponsored:
- Concord & Cass Junior High Art Clubs
- “Meet the Masters” Art Classes and Art Awards
- Artist in Residency Programs
- Band & Chorus Performances and Festivals
- Band & Chorus Summer Camp Scholarships
- “Band Enrichment through Masters Classes”
- Private Instrumental Music Lessons
- Chaperone travel costs for Band and Chorus performances
- Accompanist costs for Music performances
