Ms. Tinucci graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education. She has a Master of Arts Degree in Curriculum & Instruction and a Master of Arts Degree in School Leadership from Concordia University Chicago. Ms. Tinucci has been teaching Special Education in Cass School District 63 since 2008. She grew up and resides near the Cass School District 63 community.
As a Special Education teacher, Ms. Tinucci places the utmost emphasis on empowering her students to become independent and successful learners. She promotes a classroom environment of acceptance and safety, while providing her students with tools and strategies to develop the skills necessary to accomplish their academic goals. Ms. Tinucci collaborates with the Grade Level Teachers to provide a cohesive and supportive curriculum aligned to the Common Core Standards. Academic and behavioral interventions are implemented with students via the individualized and small group settings according to students Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs).
