Miss Desiderio is the new special education teacher for kindergarten,1st and 2nd grade.  This will be her first year teaching and she is very excited to take on this new role in Cass School District 63.  

Miss Desiderio graduated from the University of Dayton with her bachelor's of science degree in special education. 

Miss Desiderio enjoys traveling and loves starbursts candy, as well as children’s books, rainbows and anything colorful.  Miss Desiderio’s goal for this year is to guide and support her students in any way possible and she cannot wait to watch her students learn and grow throughout their time with her.  Miss Desiderio plans on meeting her students' individual needs to the best of her abilities in order to ensure their success. Miss Desiderio collaborates with grade level teachers in order to create IEP’s (individualized education plans) in order to provide the necessary supports and accommodations to assist the student with the means for achieving their goals.
